Developed at the request of Modlite Systems, to interface with their dual lead ModButton Lite switches and satisfy the ever evolving needs of end users, the Angler is a feature rich housing that positions any ModButton Lite switch at an ergonomic 20 degrees, while also offering internal + pass through cable routing opportunities, external cable channel recesses, and mini zip tie passages for additional cable management (zip ties included).
The Angler is produced here in the USA from a PA11 nylon, yielding a durable, yet lightweight construction (~.26 oz or 7.5 grams). The assembly utilizes the original hardware included with your ModButton Lite (sold separately) for installation and is supplied with two mini zip ties for optional use in the built in external passages, for cable management and rail space optimization. As with the original ModButton Lite rail grabbers, the install torque for rail grabber bolts should not exceed 5 Inch-lbs – our recommendation is 4 inch lbs with a small drop of vibratite or blue loctite for additional security in hard use environments and applications.
